Sample GSM721171 Query DataSets for GSM721171
Status Public on Jul 01, 2011
Title sch9-as rpd3 + DMSO
Sample type SRA

Source name sch9-as rpd3 whole cells, DMSO
Organism Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Characteristics strain: AH409
genotype: TB50alpha sch9-as::pRS304 rpd3::HphMX4
tissue: whole cell
treatment: DMSO 30 min
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNA extracts were purified of genomic DNA contaminations using RNeasy kits (QIAGen). Libraries were prepared from pools of equivalent amounts of RNA from four independent experiments and sequenced using version 4 kits and single read flow cells on a Genome Analyzer IIx machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions (Illumina).

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina Genome Analyzer IIx

Description mRNA (polyA+)
Data processing Reads were mapped to unique portions of the transcriptome of S. cerevisiae. Their numbers for each mRNA was normalized to the total number of aligned reads and to the length of the unique sequence of the mRNA.
