Sertoli cell line, not expressing AR
Organism |
Rattus norvegicus |
Characteristics |
cell line: 93RS2 cell type: Sertoli cell line androgen receptor expression: no
Treatment protocol |
Cells were not transfected and were harvested after 24h growth after last passage.
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
RNA was extracted with the "peqGOLD total RNA kit" (#12-6634-01) from PEQLab according to the manufacturer's protocol.
Label |
biotin
Label protocol |
Extracted RNA was subjected to cRNA synthesis and cRNA fragmentation using the CodeLink Expression Assay Kit (GE Healthcare) according to manufacturer's instructions.
Hybridization protocol |
Biotin-labeled cRNA was hybridized on the CodeLink Human Whole Genome using the CodeLink Expression Assay Kit (GE Healthcare) according to manufacturer's instructions. Bioarrays were stained with Cy5™-streptavadin (GE Healthcare). http://www.fda.gov/downloads/scienceresearch/bioinformaticstools/microarrayqualitycontrolproject/ucm132970.pdf

Scan protocol |
GenePix® 4000 B scanner and the GenePix Pro 4.0 Software (Axon Instruments, Arlington, USA).
Description |
Sertoli cells derived from rat testis. Biological replicate 3 of 3. Sertoli cells lacking any AR (93RS2), harvested after 24h growth after last passage.
Data processing |
Data were median normalized (normalized to median = 1; intra-slide normalization) and local background subtracted using CODELINK Version 5.1.
