Title |
Gene expression profile of rice root in response to macronutrient deficiency |
Platform organism |
Oryza sativa |
Sample organism |
Oryza sativa Japonica Group |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
Macronutrients are pivotal elements for proper plant growth and development. We performed microarray analysis of rice root under nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) deficiency conditions to obtain a global view of gene regulations associated with plant response to essential nutrients.

|
Overall design |
We performed microarray analysis of rice root at 6 and 24 hours after N, P and K deficiency and control treatments, respectively. We collected a total of 24 microarray data corresponding to 8 samples with 3 replicates.
