Title Pou5f3 and Sox19b select gene expression repertoire at zebrafish Zygotic Genome Activation
Organism Danio rerio
Experiment type Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary In zebrafish embryos, the maternal transcription factors (TFs) Pou5f3 and Sox19b activate the early zygotic gene expression. To evaluate the unique and common roles of Pou5f3 and Sox19b, we examined the changes in H3K27ac and H3K4me3 chromatin modifications in the embryos mutant by each TF.

Overall design We performed ChIP-seq for H3K27ac and H3K4me3 chromatin modifications in the wild-type zebrafish embryos, embryos mutant by Pou5f3 transcription factor (MZspg), and embryos mutant by Sox19b transcription factor (MZsox19b). Experiments were performed at dome stage (4.3 hours post-fertilization (hpf)).
