Title |
Insights from long non-coding RNAs profiling of beta cells undergoing high glucose/palmitate -induced glucolipotoxicity |
Organism |
Rattus norvegicus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
RNA-Seq was performed to compare the control INS-1 cells (rat beta cell line)with the high glucose/palmitate-treated INS-1 cells. According to the expression profiling data, 264 significantly dysregulated lncRNAs were identified with a set filter (fold-change ≥2.0, p < 0.05) in the HG/PA-treated INS-1 cells: 153 were up-regulated, while 111 were down-regulated.
