Study: De novo Assembly and Comparative Transcriptome Analyses of two physiological disorders (Translucent Flesh and Gamboge Disorders) in mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) fruit.
show Abstracthide Abstract
We conducted Ion Proton systems-based RNA sequencing analysis to establish the first de novo transcriptome assembly and differential gene expression analysis in the occurrence of translucent flesh and gamboge disorders in mangosteen. Our results provided valuable information for better understanding the gene regulation and mechanisms of physiological disorders in mangosteen. These transcriptomic data provide us useful tools to reveals putative genes involved in the biosynthesis of functional compounds such as xanthone and identified novel genes found in mangosteen.
Sample: Translucent Flesh Disorder-affected aril under Control condition for biological replicate 2
