YscO-like protein
This family of proteins is similar to the type III secretion protein YscO. The family includes Chlamydia trachomatis CT670 which is found in a type III secretion gene cluster. CT670 interacts with CT671, a putative YscP homologue and CT670 and CT671 may form a chaperone-effector pair [1]. [1]. 20348249. Structure and protein-protein interaction studies on Chlamydia. trachomatis protein CT670 (YscO Homolog).. Lorenzini E, Singer A, Singh B, Lam R, Skarina T, Chirgadze NY,. Savchenko A, Gupta RS;. J Bacteriol. 2010;192:2746-2756. (from Pfam)
YscO family type III secretion system apparatus protein
This family contains the bacterial type III secretion protein YscO, which is approximately 150 residues long. YscO has been shown to be required for high-level expression and secretion of the anti-host proteins V antigen and Yops in Yersinia pestis [1]. [1]. 9683485. YscO of Yersinia pestis is a mobile core component of the Yop. secretion system.. Payne PL, Straley SC;. J Bacteriol 1998;180:3882-3890. (from Pfam)
type III secretion protein
type III secretion system translocation protein similar to Yersinia pseudotuberculosis Yop proteins translocation protein O, a component of the yop secretion machinery
