Manufacture protocol The equine microarray includes 384 probes and controls of gene transcripts involve din muscle contraction, enegy metabolism and inflammation. The method to design and manufacture the equine microarray was derived from Le Brigand K et all, An open-access long oligonucleotide microarray resource for analysis of the human and mouse transcriptomes. Nucleic Acids Res. 2006 Jul 19;34(12).
These 384 equine oligonucleotides (50nt) were printed in phosphate buffer with MicroGridII (BioRobotics). They were added to the following mouse oligonucleotide microarray (25K).
The mouse oligonucleotide microarray contains 25344 features (probes and controls): 24109 oligonucleotides from mouse RNG/MRC collection (Le Brigand K et all, An open-access long oligonucleotide microarray resource for analysis of the human and mouse transcriptomes. Nucleic Acids Res. 20 06 Jul 19;34(12)). Oligos printed in phosphate buffer with MicroGridII (BioRobotics).
