Enables DNA-binding transcription factor activity and RNA polymerase II cis-regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity. Acts upstream of or within gamete generation and positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including cardiovascular system; early conceptus; genitourinary system; gut; and liver and biliary system. Orthologous to human ZNF148 (zinc finger protein 148).
