Gastrin target genes in parietal cells

Analysis of gastrin knockout parietal cells isolated from the stomach fundus by flow cytometry. Results identify gastrin responsive genes and provide insight into the critical components of the acid secretory system.

Parietal cell gene expression in the presence and absence of gastrin

(Submitter supplied) Parietal cells were isolated from WT and Gastrin Knockout mice. Targets from three biological replicates of each were generated and the expression profiles were determined using Affymetrix murine U74Av2 arrays. Comparisons between the sample groups allow the identification of genes with gastrin responsiveness. Keywords: repeat

Fundic mucosa gene expression in the presence/absence of gastrin and in gastrin-CCK double knockout mice.

(Submitter supplied) Fundic mucosa gene expression in wildtype vs gastrin knockout, gastrin replaced gastrin KO and gastrin-CCK double knockout mice Fundic mucosal scraping RNA were isolated from WT, Gastrin Knockout, Gastrin replaced KO and Gastrin-CCK double knockout mice. Targets from three biological replicates of each were generated and the expression profiles were determined using Affymetrix murine 430A arrays. Comparisons between the sample groups allow the identification of genes with gastrin responsiveness and Gastrin-CCK double effect . more...

Differential gene expression in the oxyntic and pyloric mucosa of the young pig

(Submitter supplied) The stomach is often considered a single compartment, but morphological differences among different areas are well known. Oxyntic mucosa (OXY) is primarily equipped for acid secretion, while it is not enough clear if gastric functional control are shared with other areas. We used microarrays to detail the differential gene expression related to the different gastric part in the young pig. After slaughtering OXY and pyloric (PYL) mucosa were obtained in 7 already weaned pigs.
