To verify whether TuMV-NIb alone is sufficient to inhibit the function of Pelota in plants, we performed RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) and comparative transcriptome analysis using Col-0, pelota mutant, and NIb transgenic Arabidopsis seedlings. NIb expression was found to significantly impact Arabidopsis gene expression levels.
