The mine drainage metagenome whole genome shotgun (WGS) project has the project accession AAWO00000000. This version of the project (01) has the accession number AAWO01000000, and consists of sequences AAWO01000001-AAWO01000087.

Banfield (jbanfield@berkeley.edu) Paul Richardson (microbes@cuba.jgi-psf.org) Whole genome sequencing at JGI-PGF This first version of the project has a partial genome of one Leptospirillum group II species that dominates a biofilm collected from the UBA location of the Richmond Mine acid mine drainage site, Iron Mountain, near Redding CA. The contigs were assembled in a single genomic path, thus strain variation is not evident. Annotation is on the scaffolds. Manual assembly by J. Banfield. Manual curation of ORFs by D. Goltsman and V. Denef.
