Public Note for CCDS 23122.1
The coding region has been updated to extend both the N- and C-termini based on better transcript and homology support, and to represent an alternative splice pattern based on AK172893.1. This mRNA lacks an exon in the mid-coding region, but there is currently no full-length transcript support to include this exon. The update results in a more extended ubiquitin fusion degradation protein 2 (UFD2) domain, and adds a C-terminal RING-finger domain to the protein.
